CONFINED SPACE

> City & Guilds Confined Space Awareness – 2 days

The course will be a mix of practical and classroom based learning. During the practical element, you will enter confined spaces, safely, whilst working your way through a series of simulations, using breathing apparatus. You will then move on to rescue and recovery. Using harnesses, lowering and lifting winches and stretchers, you will complete simulations in order to rescue individuals from high risk confined spaces.

> City & Guilds Confined Space Safe Entry and Self Rescue – 1 day

The aim of this course is to prepare candidates to enter, work and self-rescue from confined spaces safely. The course includes underpinning knowledge of confined space legislation, identification of confined spaces and their associated hazards, awareness of confined space risk assessments, principles of safe systems of work for confined space operations and the legal requirement and importance of a confined space rescue plan.

> IIRSM Confined Space First Response Team Training & Refresher – 1 day

Upon completion of this course with CFB Risk Management, candidates will understand and conduct rescues for personnel who enter and work within confined spaces.

All courses are delivered by competent fire service personnel with the experience, skills and knowledge required to train.

All courses completed are provided with complimentary refreshments and those courses a full day or longer include lunch.
