> Fire Warden/Marshall – 1 day
To provide delegates with the skills to carry out their duties as Fire Wardens. This knowledge will assist in the day to day management of fire safety at your premises or site. This will help management fulfil employer’s responsibilities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
> SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) – 3 days
Upon completion with CFB Risk Management learners will know how to identify safe working periods incorporating the use of BA boards and simple calculations. Delegates will learn all appropriate legislation; carry out pre-wearer checks, donning, cleaning and storage of breathing apparatus. Participants will wear Breathing Apparatus and be taught operating procedures.
> Face Fit – 1 day (or bespoke to client requirements)
Within this course CFB Risk Management ensure face pieces are fit for purpose and that the face piece wearer can correctly apply their own equipment in line with HSE OC 282/28 all assessments are undertaken by competent staff to safeguard the health of employees.
> HAZMAT – 1 day
Delegates will develop a basic awareness of hazardous materials and of the types of equipment and resources available to deal with a range of incidents within the workplace. The programme focuses on a “defensive response” should a potential incident arise.
> Fire Fighting Foam Philosophy and Application
It is invaluable training for your safety and fire personnel who have responsibility for fighting flammable liquid fires, to ensure they can protect your personnel, premises, equipment and business.
Upon completion of this course delegates will understand foam types, and application methods through to testing and live fire exercises, to ensure they are confident in tackling these situations, and able to minimise risks.
All courses are delivered by competent fire service personnel with the experience, skills and knowledge required to train.
All courses completed are provided with complimentary refreshments and those courses a full day or longer include lunch.
