> QA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator – 1/2 day

Upon completion delegates will be able to identify the signs and symptoms associated with basic cardiovascular conditions. Understand the basics of the chain of survival and be able to take appropriate actions to prepare a casualty for defibrillator use, and the actions to be taken prior to operation of the defibrillator.

> QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work – 1 day

This award in Emergency Firs Aid at Work (RFQ) qualification is designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace. Upon completion of this qualification, delegates will be successfully equipped with the essential skills needed to give safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations.

> QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work – 3 days

This course in First Aid at Work qualification is specifically designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace. Successful delegates will learn how to manage a range of injuries and illnesses that could occur at work and will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give emergency first aid.

> QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work Refresher – 2 days

The purpose of this course is to benefit leaners by enabling them to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations and/or take on the role of emergency first aider in the workplace. It must be completed before the expiry of their existing certificate date.

All courses are delivered by competent fire service personnel with the experience, skills and knowledge required to train.

All courses completed are provided with complimentary refreshments and those courses a full day or longer include lunch.
